The UseCV group has more than 10 years of experience in software usability and user experience. We advise different companies in order to improve the usability and user experience of their software products and/or applications.

The Diploma in User Experience and Usability has been taught at the School of Computer Engineering since 2015. The program was initiated with the purpose of offering an alternative to the growing demand for training/specialization of User Experience designers and advisors in User Experience and Usability of products, systems, and services. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the Human-Computer Interaction area, previous versions of the program involved computer scientists, engineers, psychologists, journalists, designers, and architects.

UseCV has a usability laboratory inside the Isabel Brown Cases building of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso.

UseCV  conducts seminars, talks, and conferences, about the group’s research and areas of expertise.
