UseCV is a research group focused on Human-Computer Interaction, from the School of Computer Engineering (www.inf.ucv.cl) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso (PUCV), Chile (www.pucv.cl). UseCV was initiated in 2006 by Dr. Cristian Rusu, and includes professors, software developers, graduate professionals, and undergraduate and graduate students.

The group’s activities include research projects related mainly to Usability (and related aspects), User Experience, and Usability Studies for industry and companies. The vast majority of Usability Tests are conducted in two Usability Labs of the School, which have been available since 2006.

Among the services offered by the research group, we give usability advice to companies or organizations, we count with the diploma program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, and we conduct seminars and lectures about our research areas.

The group, through its website, publish details about its research projects, the documents and publications that have been created over the years, and the thesis projects that its members have carried out.
